Seriously this is getting silly. I know some players went a bit overboard with their TD celebrations and the NFL cut that back to get to a middle ground but now they are going to the other extreme. Soon it will be players can not imitate the refs signal for first downs on first downs.

This is stupid. I've never heard a single complaint about a player spinning the ball. Nobody cares. They want them to be emotionless robots out there.
Makes you wonder what's next.
Knee and elbow pads only with a white belt that has two one foot flags attached.

Wtf.. No more sack celebrations at all? No more spiking the ball, or pointing the ball after the first down.
From Yahoo and PFT
a variety of celebratory acts are no longer permissible and will result in a penalty: "These acts include but are not limited to: sack dances; home run swing; incredible hulk; spiking the ball; throwing or shoving the ball; pointing; pointing the ball; verbal taunting; military salute; standing over an opponent (prolonged and with provocation; or dancing."

The NFL announced today that upon making a touchdown, a player must quickly hand the ball to a ref and then walk slowly back to his side of the field with his head down. Any eye-contact with a fellow player will be deemed "celebration" and will penalized as unsportsmanlike conduct with a 15 yard penalty on the following kickoff. Any delay in handing the ball to a ref will result in a "delay of game" penalty with a 5 yard penalty on the following kickoff.

Incredible Hulk? Do they think that's what Aaron Rodgers does? Maybe Cam Newton? WTF, facepalm, over.
Sack Dances? I don't like the sound of that...

Nothing new... Kap got flagged for doing the same thing after being tackled on one of his nicer runs vs GB.

Thought that would be covered in the "sack dance" category, but yeah... good point.
