I hope this means that we get our "conditional" draft pick back.

Remember that trade last week where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sent cornerback Eric Wright to the San Francisco 49ers? Forget it ever happened.
NFL.com's Albert Breer reported Monday that Wright failed his physical with the 49ers, canceling the trade. Breer reports that the Buccaneers will release Wright, who was arrested for DUI earlier this month. The 49ers had agreed to send a conditional 2014 draft pick in exchange for Wright.
It's unclear why Wright failed the physical, although he had an Achilles injury at one point in 2012. Wright also could be at risk of a league suspension because he also was arrested for DUI in 2012, although the case eventually was dropped.
We'd be surprised if Wright didn't land with another team, although he might have to wait for his legal trouble to shake out. The 49ers conceivably could still wind up with him, but Nnamdi Asomugha's job looks a little safer now.
