Damn, Alex looked good.

Went 7/8 for i believe 68 yds, ending in the drive with a j.charles td(rushing). Although, most passes were checkdowns doe.

It looked like the same type of plays Alex ran while with the 9ers.

I used the word 'efficient'. To each his own.

That's like saying a woman isn't going to get her period while practicing abstinence.

He did very well. Methodically drove them down the field. The one incompletion was a throw-away.

Didn't get to see the game. How was the O-line for Smith. Thanks

the announcers said that it seemed like they had a pretty good oline. fisher and albert both held up at the point of attack pretty well. said smith was able to also audible a few times, and also converted a 3rd down with a pass to a WR for 8-12yds i think they said. but dont quote me.

Lots of short passes. Sounds like the Smith that we know.

Seriously, no shame in taking what they give you. Get it down to the redzone how ever you can. Then inside the redzone, that's where you should try to take what you want. I hope both Smith and our Roman have learned that sh*t from our SB game

He played smart, didn't make any mistakes, was methodical and he got the Chiefs down the field and into the endzone. Considering how pathetic the 2nd and 3rd team offense looked, he did very well for himself.
Still preseason

I'd wait until week 1 to make any definitive observations on the new Smith.

New Smith? As opposed to the one who led the NFL for half a season last year?

I'm supportive in case you couldn't tell.

Smith showed nothing last preseason, except for one Vernon Davis strike against denver. He looked better tonight than last preseason I thought.

People forget Smith was a downfield passer not that many years ago.

I haven't forgotten. When he first came to the Niners, I thought he threw a beautiful long ball. He kind of lost a little of that when he had his shoulder problems but he may be getting it back.
