must say, I'll be surprised if the Denver referees let KC win...

Chiefs are a damn good team, but if they played the Niners right now, they would get absolutely dismantled!
FTFY.
I bet they take the Chickens. Have you watched their last two games?
Do you both still feel this way?
Yes I still do. I find it amazing that no one is really crediting the Panthers. They are the type of smash mouth team that the Niners tend to fold against.
Did you guys see the intensity their defense played yesterday? Plus they got a tremendous RB committee, Tolbert is a juggernaut.
Sorry guys, but the Niner loss does not make the Chiefs more dominant on their bye week.
If Carolina is smash mouth defense..what do you think KC's #1 NFL rated defense is? Meek?
Please note: I'm not suggesting or hinting that I would want the niners to lose this match up...just that I'm not confident that they would win based on current performances.

I'm sure there will be some bad/no calls made...but you can overcome that with a dominant performance... KC needs to focus on putting hits on Manning early and take him out of his game. Even if it means 15 yards and a first down.
Not suggesting they should demonstrate poor sportmenship...just that they shouldn't play conservative because the refs will protect Manning.

Carolina's defense earned my respect after yesterday's game. They pretty much stymied the seahawks in week 1, and now they beat the 49ers. Can't say the same for Chiefs D, they are still unproven to me, plus...didn't they face like 4 back up QB's in the last 5 weeks? Sure they look good statistically, but that's only half the story, imo.
Furthermore, it's not just Panthers D, it's also their running game. The way Eric Reid went to sleep yesterday was scary! Imo, D Will, Stewart, Tolbert, and even Cam, is a type of run game that is going to carry them deep into the playoffs this year, can't say that about the Chiefs either.

Defensive ranking vs the run: average yards per carry allowed:
CAR: 8th at 3.8 per carry
KC: 31 at 5.0 per carry
Defensive ranking vs the pass: average yards per pass allowed:
CAR: 6th allowing 6.6 per pass
KC: 6th allowing 6.6 per pass
SF would run all over KC.
