I hear ya... it's still a waste of time, even for a "bandwagon Seahawk fan"

It's the off-season, a lot of time to waste...
It's funny that Irvin can't spell tough correctly

Wow, one guy's signature is a rant about Eddie D's riverboat casino felony...bet that same guy complains when a Niner fan brings up 5 rings...

As usual, Packers fans are very knowledgeable and reasonable and Saints fans are delusional.

There seems to be a strong correlation of team history with intelligent fan bases. Those that have accomplished next to nothing over the past 20 years seem to have the most delusional fans. Those with great history (Raiders don't count) such as the Packers, Niners, Giants, etc. seem to be a little more classy, level-headed and intelligent. I could be wrong...

No, I think you're right. But, I would also add that most people from the northern Midwest are very polite and reasonable in my experience.

Different area. I don't want to insult anyone, but KC is getting down close to what we call the "Bible belt." It's not the North. Up in the Great Lakes area it's all "you betcha!" and "how ya doin?" and "great to see ya!".

LOL! Gotcha...I remember Marvin and I and others were visiting the KC forums after the Alex trade. This line by a KC fan pretty much sums it up, "I'm truly embarrassed by our fan base right now."
This is classic...

To answer the thread title:

I sure hope so. The only people who ever get accused of cheating are the winners.

Never cared if the Patriots taped practices or whatever. Anyone who thinks that's how they won all those SuperBowls is just being a hater. Just like Denver winning the SuperBowl when cheating the cap - who cares? Nobody remembers. All we remember is Elway riding off into the sunset. I've heard tons of stuff about the Walsh 49ers cheating in various ways as well, steroid use and stuff like that (same with the 70's Steelers and Raiders), but who cares? They're still champs. We still talk about them.

As they say - if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying.

All seems somewhat reasonable, but his handle is...

"tons of stuff about the Walsh 49ers cheating in various ways..."??? Like what? Does anyone even have the slightest idea what this a-hole is talking about? I'm serious. I'd really like to know. Because the Walsh I remember wouldn't stand for character issues - the first year he was in SF, when he heard Hollywood Henderson was taking coke, he got rid of him right away.

The only thing that has some substance is that Debartolo worked the system in the non-salary cap era
