You'd actually be surprised lol, I remember hopping a lot of bars to watch games around then, and people were wearing Montana Chiefs jerseys, even remember watching the Montana/Young game at Vesuvio and seeing an old hipster (whom I knew was a die hard 49er fan) with Montana/Chiefs attire. -The local fanbase was literally torn until Young sealed the deal.
