I'd lime to see them go straight to the college OT rules. Very exciting. But when the winner is decided, just add 1 point to the score. Don't run the score up every time somebody scores a TD.

NCAA rules, except the points are only given to winner
IE, whoever wins the OT would only win by 3 or 6 points. These points would be added to the end of regulation score.
You would not factor in every touchdown of FG like the NCAA does.
