How is Wilson looking? Anything to be concerned about?

Two things.

First, Wilson looks very good both running and passing the ball. The Seahawks look like they will have the most expensive backup in the NFL in Flynn.

Second, the Niners should be a little concerned if the Seahawks end up with a QB capable of making plays. Will be interesting to see how the Niners D will game plan against him...............

Starting a 3rd round pick over a high priced free agent? Looks like the Seahawks care about winning more than we do. Most on the WZ think Harbaugh puts winning second to draft status.

The Hawks have a good offense with Russ under center and a lot of talent around him but their OL is shaky which he compensates for by moving in and out of the pocket. That said, the Hawks don't have game changing talent to create mismatches that you have to double defensively. We will own them defensively. We will snuff out the run then with our front collapse the interior pocket while maintaining gap integrity and keep him from the outside with the relentless pressure from aldon and brooks. If he scrambles into the second level, hello willis and bowman. As for his passing, he will have to make play after play downfield with pressure up front from inside a collapsed pocket with his height deficiency.

If he overcomes all of that consistently, then great but SEA defense will be tested vs our offense because we have talent that you must overcompensate defensively to subdue. You must have 8 or 9 in the box to stop Frank Gore and his running mates in this intricate rushing attack and when you do you leave yourself susceptible to one on one vs Moss and VD. Both of these athletes require a double team. After which our speed at WR must be accounted for with Ginn Williams and Jenkins and you still have to find a way to stay with Delanie and the backs out of the backfield receiving such as Gore Hunter and LMJ.

Russ Wilson wont hurt us like we will hurt them. Lastly, our ST puts Russ in situations where he has to score from 80 yds out every single time. We nail essentially every kick and cover just as well. SEA has a nice team and a shot at winning, but I am not ready to anoint them as division favorites just yet.

Seahawks are too stupid to appreciate 'talent', they're gonna start Flynn, and package Wilson to some delusional s**t-bag franchise for some draft tender.

If they don't appreciate talent, why did they start Wilson over Flynn in the most important preseason game before the regular season? They are ejecting T. Jackson because he isn't talented enough to be a top flight NFL QB. C'mon, man. I hate the Seahawks too, but the one thing that franchise does right is acquire talent. Carroll can't coach that talent into a winning season, but they are talented. They are the only team in our division that matches up with the Niners physically. Got to give some credit where credit is due.

Most on the WZ this Harbaugh puts winning second to draft status?? WTF are you talking about?
Wilson is going to look the same against first stringers the way Tolzien would (and I really like Tolzien):

Not So Fabulous

Rewatching Sea-KC game and see the same thing as last week. When taking the snap from center, he makes his first read (stares) and goes with it. Reminds me of Andy Dalton in the Cincinnati game last year. Look for corners to start undercutting those routes (I.E. Rogers on Dalton). Wilson is very accurate, but if they go shotgun as much as they have NFL pass rushers will lick their chops. Especially our line. They may start Wilson, but he will have growing pains. If they were smart they would let Wilson get more time learning progressions. Flynn may not have as much upside, but has yet to really play with their starting receivers like Wilson had. Flynn has shown his ability to read progressions. Either way they always play us tough, but I don't think they're there yet to challenge us for the division. The few times KC blitzed he immediately pulled the ball down to run. Won't happen against our front seven. Will be interested to see if Wilson holds up running that much, Vick hasn't.
Also KC has not looked too hot, after all the Rams rolled them up last week. Come on Sunday, seems like it's still a week away.

I second this WTF are you smoking? If winning was secondary to draft status Kaepernick would've been the starting QB last season's week 1.....Aldon was a situational player for his rookie year, Cully was the 4th DB until Brock got hurt and probably would've been the 5th in Spencer hadn't have been injuried in TC, Hunter was a backup, we cut a 5th round draft choice in favor of signing players like Joe Hastings........I'll stop there.

Seriously hope you were just trolling because if you think that then damn....

He was being sarcastic based on the Tolzien should be #2 thread.
