Best QB to ever play in the NFL, he will do fine if he doesn't get re-injured. He won't have his best season ever, but he will be top 5 in the league if he plays 16 games.

I think Peyton will still guide them to 9-7, that's a helluva lot better then what they were last year.

I think he will be good and they make the playoffs, so no.

If healthy, he should play very well. Continuity is nice, but that's not what made him great in Indy. He's one of the best players of all-time. The Colts have long had a marginal roster, it just wasn't exposed until he got hurt. That's how great he is. He consistently took a team with 2-win talent and got them 10+ wins year after year.

I said yes because I don't think he'll be the guy he was in Indy, but I still think he'll do relatively well and so will that team. 11-5 IMO.

I think Manning could handle the pressures in a new environment. the guy hand picked it himself. so he knows what hes in for before signing on the dotted line. Its his neck thats still the question mark for me. If he gets enough discomfort in that area its going to put him off his game thats all a defence needs . . . that one little moment of indecision.

Unlike Brady, Peyton's offense has always been Peyton's offense. He IS the system. Brady plays in Belichick's offense, which has made a guy like Matt Cassell look fantastic. Peyton's backup has never, ever looked good. Peyton calls the shots and that isn't going to change. If he doesn't fit your system, you change your system. Period.

Name a QB that has never had a good - or even decent - defense that has gotten as far as Peyton. It's funny how when we discuss our own players, it's a team effort, but when people wanna bring down a guy like Peyton Manning they make it seem like it's only him that loses in the postseason. What a joke.

He's going to return to form, but yes being on a new team and getting accustomed to his new teammates may slow him down.

Hopefully he does okay. Would really like to face him and the Broncos in the Super Bowl so we could demolish them.

That would only make them better by a game from last year

Yeah they made the playoffs and beat the Steelers in those Playoffs lol. A helluva lot better would mean going to the Superbowl or at least the AFC Championship. I think those are possible with Manning.

WORST way to judge a person. They are not in control of their coaching or the rest of the players around them.. That's like saying Marino is not a top 5 QB because hes never won a Superbowl or Reggie Miller isn't one of the greatest SGs ever because hes never won a ring, or Ewing as well.. The list can go on and on.. Manning in my eyes is the greatest QB to ever play the game.
