2 sacks!! He can kick rocks
He did a fine job holding the point on 1st and 2nd down, which is not something that is very easy for a rookie to come in and do, which is why Aldon Smith was kept off of the field in favor of Haralson in those situations. Clay Matthews only had 6 sacks playing all 3 downs all year as a designated pass rusher last year. Does that make him a bad linebacker? Does the fact that Alex Smith threw only 17 touchdowns last year make him a bad QB?
He didn't do s**t. The only reason he sniffed the field was because of the lockout. Aldon Smith had even less time of converting from DE to OLB. Do you really think haralsons play is what kept him on the field? The defense was a completely different monster with Aldon. Aldon is our starting OLB from here on out and that leaves backup spots. I would rather have a guy with tons of potential then on a guy who has shown to be completely trash.
And LOL at trying to compare clay to parys. GB Had one of the worst defenses in the league. And yea clay probably had a down year. But he's shown to be on of the better olbs. Parys played with the best front 7 in football and all he put up was 2 sacks. And as for Alex, not a bad qb but 17 tds is mediocre
