Can do a lot of things really well, but doesn't have one off the charts skill so he doesn't stand out. I don't have a problem with that at all. Nice combination of college production and measurables. I think he has a better career than both Randle and especially Hill.
Lot's of good o-linemen left on the board. Maybe even that Jenoris Jenkins kid. But all I know is that Baalke and Co. know a whole lot more about the draft than I do so the only way I'm going to be mad is if we draft a rapist/serial killer/child pornography distributor.
He reminds me of Greg Jennings.

Baalke said we may carry 6 WRs during the season
Moss, Crabs, Manningham, Williams, Ginn, and Jenkins.......maybe?
If we only dress 5 it will be between Williams and Jenkins
Laughed out loud when I read this...Niner Talk at it's finest.
on gamedays we wont dress 6 WR's so you dress 5, the last spot will be between jenkins and williams
Or you dress 5, and leave one on the sidelines in the buff.

Balkke does it again!
lol.
It doesn't take too much confidence to draft a person who is widely regarded as a reach.
Its almost like this guy views "reaches" as "players in the rough". Its like he says, people project this guy later, but I see something in him where he can contribute in our system. Good GMs do that.

Uh, U serious?
AJ Green has 4 inches 20 pounds on Jenkins. More like can you say our own Maclin/Desean/etc.?
If you want to be SPECIFIC in stature and all that, then yes, our Maclin. Have some fun with the pick sheesh!

Way stoked about this pick. Selecting him providing immediate competition for Ginn and Williams, he has experience returning kicks and immediate removes Kendall Hunter from the KR depth chart.
I knew our pick was a top 50 player and not going to be who we expected so I am in no way angry about this, I trust Harbaugh and Baalke completely.
Aldon was a reach by 5-10 spots as many people had him going between 11-15 last year
Culliver was graded as a 6th round pick by Mayock and all the talking heads and he was top 5 rookie cb and one of the better nickel backs.
We selected 2 time conference defensive POY in the 7th and turned him into a pro-bowl FB.
This coachign staff knows what they are doing, Jenkins actually is the guy we wanted all along.

I've heard ''Steve Wallace -esque.''
I'm thinking more like Jason Hill -esque.
Besides,
more than likely,
Moss will get injured and or suck.

Ginn isn't being deactivated, he will return kicks and punts, rather him then Williams. And Williams isn't guaranteed a roster spot at all.

If he's like Mike Wallace... why don't we just trade for Wallace and try to negotiate a realistic contract?
Ugh....... I'd rather take my chances on a youngster over paying Wallace Fitz money.

But Jason Hill didn't have the college production to match his tangibles. AJ Jenkins does.
