Jaguars need to move to LA. If they had one team and it was competitve most of the time it would do fine. It would really be a travesty to see the Vikes leave Minnesota.

f**k L.A. They need to take away the basketball teams and the baseball teams. f**king gangsters down here don't know how to celebrate. If it wasn't for my job I'd move to SF. This city is garbage.

I think moreso the rest of the world thinks southern californians are superficial.
who's rubbing that in your face?

LA and AEG are in no position of leverage. The NFL has the leverage here.
LA has tried and failed at NFL football on several occasions. The NFL is doing amazingly well without having a team in LA. The NFL is not in need of a team there. LA needs the NFL, not the other way around.
You got it backwards bro. The NFL needs a team in the second largest TV market more than LA needs the NFL.
Every year that goes by with no NFL team in LA, is lost profits for the NFL. Meanwhile, there are plenty of other games in town to take up the sports/entertainment bandwidth available in LA.
The NFL "needs" LA?! The NFL is more profitable than ever, without LA. It "needs" LA as much as it "needs" a team in London.
Show us on this doll where the big bad city of Los Angeles touched you.

LA is a garbage town that is severly overrated. Besides my opinion, I hope the city and the NFL can work things out. LA would make the NFL more money.

I think I see what's going on here. You guys are just upset that L.A. has real Mexican food while you're stuck eating mission burritos and Taco Bell.
Clearly.

This isn't an LA vs. anybody thing. The fact is, as a business, the NFL is doing just fine without LA. It has been that way for some time now. The NFL has never, in its history, been more profitable. Therefore, the NFL has the leverage in these negotiations. Simple as that.
I'm sure at some point LA will get an NFL team. It will be on the NFL's terms. Not LA's.

I'm not buying it. The NFL has more to gain from putting a team in the second largest market in the country than L.A. does. And Los Angeles isn't desperate.

Jaguars are more likely to move to Chicago as a second NFL team there because the new owner Shaid Khan is from Chicacgo . They were talking about Minnesota today on ESPN they have 11 days for there state government to work out funding for a new stadium. If they don't work it out it is more than likely that the owners of the vikings will, look for a new city to play where LA is the leading candidate.

A sportsnation poll just had 46% of the country say that Minnesota should move to LA.

I'm a 49ers fan DIEHARD and live in LA and went to a few 49er games and the 49ERS SO CALLED FANS are instigators luckily the only fans that fight back are Raider Fans and now we don't play them and yet everyone is quick to point the finger at the other TEAM. The bad experiences I've experience makes me not want a football team in LA I rather have NFL Sunday Ticket and happy with it DON'T have to deal with the IDIOTS all you so called 49ers fans that ruined for alot of people we say THANKS!!

Neither side really has leverage over the other which is why the whole thing has been spinning it's wheels and going nowhere for so long.
NFL has more to gain by having a team in LA because while business is very healthy it would be even better with a team in LA. But as it's been pointed out it's more the NFL would really like a team in LA rather than it needing one there. So the NFL doesn't need to rush things and it can wait for the right opportunity or situation to develop before it pushes things.
The NFL is just waiting for a team to move as at this point as any team that moves will all but certainly go to LA and than it will start getting serious about putting a team in there.
My personal guess is the NFL is just waiting on the Raiders since it looks like they won't be sharing the new Santa Clara stadium, they likely won't get one in Oakland, there is already a build in fanbase in LA, and it spreads out the markets a bit with the Chargers covering the South of Cali, the Raiders the middle, and 9ers the North.
