Of course he wants to come back to the only thing he knows how to make money at. Dude is broke and any money he has goes to pay for child support for his 20 kids and lifetime of bad decisions.

He didnt spend his money like other athletes, he hired a financial advisor and the dude basically stole his money and bounced.
Am I the one only one whoe loved TO as a 49er? He was absosultely hands down my favorite 49ers post Steve Young Era; I know the dude was selfish and everything, but if he can still play why can't we at least give him a shot; s**t we gave montana's son a shot. If Owens got anything left i'm all for him becoming a niner again...

Games are won through team play and dedicated assignment, which plays into team play. Terrell Owens was a great individual player but his antics hurt the overall chemistry of the team. I doubt at 39 years old, that he has anything left in the tank. Montana's son is in his early twenties, big difference. I'm pretty sure if the great Joe Montana came out now and said that he wanted to play another year, everybody would just laugh. He's past his time and so is TO.

I still think TO has something left in his tank; I don't think Montana's son is even qualified for a work out other than a publicity stunt. TO is no longer capable of any type of antics; to be honest though I loved his antics as a 49ers other than hating on Garcia and leaving us. Either way I believe he will fill in as a hard worker and a proven vet, and we can take 81 back from Boldiin and rightfully retire his number
lol he can't see the ball and was never that good at catching to start with. His problem isn't lack of talent even at 39. It's his eye's he can't see the dam ball so he can't catch it.

Bringing in TO at this point would be nothing less than a publicity stunt in itself because of his name value. As far as his antics towards Garcia go, thats the one guy that you don't mock in the media. The quarterback is supposed to be the leader and face of an offense, when you constantly throw them under the bus in the media and create controversy, then all you do is seperate a locker room and I'm sure it doesn't help the qb's confidence either.

I respect your opinion but I still disagree. He couldn't even beat out Braylon Edwards in Seattle's camp last season and Edwards has barely had a foot in the league since he came here to San Fran. Not too mention, Edwards didn't even make it till midseason on that roster. I appreciate Owens hard work and dedication that he is still doing, but hard worker or not, he's still just a hard working man staring 40 in the eyes. Every year the defensive backs get stronger and quicker in this league and if he went back out there now, he would be exposed because of it.
