Teddy Brushi (not worth trying to spell his name right) is an idiot. He has the jets as the "not team" in the nfl. The Jags, KC, and the Raiders are ranked ahead of the Jets? Not only he is an idiot but also biased as well.

well he does have a point..the Chiefs and Jags are a decent QB away from being respectable IMO..The Raiders I'm not sure they need help everywhere much like the Jets..with the Jets they need a lot of help especially at QB,OL,WR,OLB's maybe another RB etc. Plus I just think considering where they were a few years ago and where they are now they've really taken a dive for the worst and it starts with Sanchez.

The cold, hard truth: Owner Jim Irsay made a monumental four-year mistake when he ceremoniously cut Peyton Manning last March. And Irsay and his new general manager, Ryan Grigson, compounded that calculated blunder last April by drafting Andrew Luck overRobert Griffin III.I laughed...First of all he is talking about Luck as if he were a big drop-off in comparison to RGIII. Second, he completely forgets about the cap space a Manning would have eaten.
Please, let this sink in: Peyton Manning just went from being cut to being NFL MVP -- an NFL first.??? he means he ist the first best player, doesnt he?

Last time I checked, Luck turned a 2-14 team to an 11-5 team. RG3, although he did a hell of a job, turned a 5-11 team to a 10-6 team.
Andrew Luck is the Indianapolis Colts. It may seem crazy that letting go of Peyton Manning was the right decision, but not only was it the right decision, it was a great decision. Andrew Luck will be much better than Robert Griffin III. I have no doubt about that.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers do not plan on extending quarterback Josh Freeman's contract this offseason,
reports Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. The four-year pro will play out his rookie contract in the 2013
season as the team determines if he is its quarterback of the future.
The guy is only 24 years old. Maybe he just needs better coaching

Is this a recycled version of Schiano saying he needed to "evaluate" Freeman? Doesn't surprise me cause the Ravens are in the same process with Flacco right now and both of them have been wildly inconsistent.

From what I took from the article, it's seemingly so. Schiano didn't draft him, and it's the end of his fourth season.
Personally, I think there's more to the Bucs late season woes, than Freeman' struggles ... not giving him a total
pass, just trying to look at the complete picture -- that is their team in general -- Schiano not excluded.

For those that remember the Niners Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach '95-'96 ...
Now that Chip Kelly, has decided to stay on at Oregon, the Cleveland Browns are set to interview Mark Trestman.

potentially screwed.
The mere fact that Dr. James Andrews was at the game and went out on the field during the game raised my eyebrows. Listening to some of the discussions on ESPN regarding how this whole thing can be potentially awkward (Doctor/patient/team and confidentiality) was interesting. One ESPN analyst said that he made the comment when RG III was drafted, that unless he made a change to his syle, his career would be about 5 years in the NFL.
I think this would be another factor in the debate between Luck and RG III and the first overall selection: Which one is more likely to have a longer, healthier career?
