Since Steve Young said Eli is a Hall of Famer, then he is.

Pats had the same problems the niners had no weapons on the outside. overall the game was boring and the commercials were even worse

This what Harbaugh meant about "the football gods not wanting us to win" (or something along those lines)

i think he's a likely Hall of Famer. Needs a few more years like 2011, stat-wise, I think.
do you guys think Roethlisberger is a slam-dunk Hall of Famer, which is how Eli is being portrayed?

Really? He just gave them $200 million to help build a new stadium.

i only ask because i've been reading a lot of things that basically say Eli is an "all-time great" and has "made his case for Canton" but--and maybe I'm just forgetting--I don't remember anyone making the same pronouncements about Big Ben. They have similar stats, except Roehlisberger has won more games and has a better TD:INT ratio, and both obviously have two rings.

BINGO......I thought the same exact thing and was shouting at the screen at my friends super bowl party. Hopefully that means next year they will get the call right!

Made me angry. I was too busy swearing at the screen but someone mentioned that Colinsworth pointed out the discrepancy. Is that true?

This A MILLION f**kING TIMES!!!! Football gods just wanted them to win. Although I pretty much think they beat NE straight up on this one. 49ers game....well 49ers beat the 49ers not the Giants.

I will say just this.......the Giants were very, very fortunate to "beat" both the Niners and Patriots. There is no doubt that this was "their year".....or at the very least, "their time" in the playoffs.
I've been watching pro football for over 40 years now and rarely have I seen a team get as many breaks as the Giants did in the past two games. They are a good team but man......not that damn good.
Let me just say when a FRIGGIN LINEBACKER gets an interception on a deep pass like that, you are bound to win. lol Giants are some lucky b*****ds. 49ers should have been in this one. UGH!!!!!
