Raiders received permission today to interview both Broncos coordinators, DC Dennis Allen and OC Mike McCoy, for their HC vacancy.

LOL, why in the world is the Donkey's OC getting HC interviews? LOL.

The said the same thing about our OC at the time, Mike McCarthy. How'd that work out for GB?

Yeah, I suppose - McCarthy was at least an OC for 5 seasons though...this is McCoy's second season as an OC.

I thought the DC one was shocking too, I was thinking John Fox is the main reason that defense is good

McCarthy got hired because he had worked with Favre in the past

Please dont use Mike McCarthy one bad statistical season as a justification to hire an average to below average OC. Its just lazy.

According to John Clayton of ESPN.com, Marc Trestman could be a possible replacement. Clayton believes the Colts will be seeking an offensive-minded coach. Trestman, the Alouettes' head coach the last four years, spent many seasons in the NFL, working with various organizations as an offensive co-ordinator and quarterbacks coach.Read more:

Dolphins expected to name their new HC today.

The Dolphins coaching search is down to a two-horse race between Broncos OC Mike McCoy and Packers OC Joe Philbin, according to the Miami Herald.
Interim coach Todd Bowles is a fallback option if owner Stephen Ross "cannot decide between Philbin and McCoy." If it was any other front office, we'd be shocked at that line of reasoning. McCoy is reportedly GM Jeff Ireland's man, though Ross "also thinks very highly of Philbin." Bowles remained in the mix until the end because "his presentation to Ross, Ireland and consultant Carl Peterson was impressive." The Dolphins' decision is expected to be announced on Friday.
