He was. I remember hoping he would fall to us. The hype on this guy was amazing. Goes to show you.

lulz i remeber that too smh. Who drafts a 4-3 OLB in the top 5? dumbass seattle.

The Broncos(von Miller).
The superbowl winning Green Bay Packers.(AJ Hawk)
Lavar Harrington, back in 2000.
Ernie Sims went at 9 in '06.
Keith Rivers went at 9 in 2008.

but generally I agree with you. Unless the guy is a special talent(Von Miller), 4-3 OLB isnt a real playmaking position worthy of such a high pick.

Yeah I agree, but Von Miller was a lock to be a top 5 pick. Hes got real special talent

I believe AJ Hawk is an ILB

He is now, but he wasnt from 06-08. He was drafted to play outside as the Pack had Nick Barnett at MLB.

*Arrington, im sorry. Yup Courtney Brown and Lavarr Arrington both from Penn St went #1 and 2 in the 2000 draft.

He's better suited as a 3-4 OLB.

I would love to get a crack at grabbing him if he's released
Cardinals made offer for Curry

It looks like this guy in now on the trading block. I doubt they would trade him inside the division though. Would be nice to strengthen our OLB position.

Curry would not be a good fit for a 3-4 OLB at all. He isn't a pass rusher. Maybe for 1st and 2nd downs? But hed probably project better to the inside of a 3-4.
