I have heard of playing 2 sports at once, but Fighting and football? He is one tough SOB. How is it that Balt is ok with this?

he boxed in college. I'm sure its something the organization asked him about before drafting or signing him. I don't think it just came out of the blue.

I know he boxed in college and he was a golden glover. But its a pretty dangerous sport to participate in dont you think? Its hard enough to play two sports, let alone Football and Boxing. Playing Golf and Tennis would be hard.
Don't mess with Polish doods.
Patrick Willis crosstrains in MMA during the offseason. But it's incredible that Zbikowski actually can actually compete and make it as a pro boxer in addition to the NFL.
People say the down fall of boxing is pro football. Boxing used to be the best way to make $$ but now football is king. All the good heavy weights are playing linebacker or d end. Lol

I do not think that what the team thinks matters much, and even if it did they can not talk to him about anything related to football.

Sorry but that is completely wrong.

You injure yourself away from football and your NFL contract can be voided. What BAL thinks matters a great deal if Zbikowski cares about the NFL contract.

Any athlete that signs with a professional team will have some type of clause regarding risky physical activity outside the sport that could result in an injury preventing you from playing the sport you signed a contract for.

So yes...they can be told what to do outside of their sport based on the contract they sign
