That's a good point. Are they currently allowed to trade players for draft picks without the CBA? Not sure they would allow that b/c teams would use that as a loophole.
No, can't trade current players for picks in this draft, which is why it's highly unlikely he is traded. I would be surprised if they do it post CBA for next year's picks w/o knowing where those picks will be.

If his mechanics and accuracy are as bad as you say they are why did he not declare a QB competition between Kolb & Vick ? Why did they throw 12+ million at Kolb over 2 seasons ?

Why did the Vikings give Favre 16 million? Obviously if a team spends high money on a player, that must mean they are great. Outstanding logic.

Kolb is a longterm insurance. Vick doesn't have many more years, especially when teams will figure him out in that system, as they always do with QB's unless that QB is legit. Vick is considered a backup who came in and had success. No guarantee he does it again.
