"He gunned it in there."
"Rifled that pass."
"Hill with a bomb of a throw!"
it would be more like
"Hill with a 5 yard punt...pass to Morgan"
"Hill really put some hang time on that pass"
"Crabtree calls a faircatch on the slant for a first down"

We could have used Shaun Hill now, for our WCO

I don't know if I should be more pissed at Sing (for not wanting to have competition for that lame ass Smith) or at Smith (for being such a lame ass that he can't have competition).
Do you guys agree that Hill could have been our starter next year? I know this is water under the bridge, but this one is killing me....
Hill is not a perfect fit for the west coast offense.
You need an accurate QB Hill was 13th in comp%
You need a quick footed QB Hill is old and slow with average footwork
You need a QB with a quick release Hill’s reaction time is below average
Not to mention he’s a backup who happened to start for two incredibly bad teams.

Unfortunately, they signed him to an extension shortly after they traded for him. They realized, unlike the 49ers that he has great value whether as a starter or a backup.

You really have no idea what you're talking about.
If Hill was those things you just described, he wouldn't be in the league. In reality, he has above average accuracy, great mobility in the pocket, and a very short release time. I understand he's an unassuming guy but more times than not he finds a way to get it done.
As for the original topic, it truly is a shame that he's not a 49er anymore because he would be perfect for this current scenario. Just look at him in Detroit right now, he had no issue taking a step back for Stafford and allowing them to groom him. That's the type of attitude you want out of a second string QB, and not only that but when his number is called he's more than capable of leading a team.

You know how to "make it stop" for yourself? Stay out of the thread. Believe it or not, it's that easy. For real. No tricks involved. I promise.

Yet we allowed more sacks and QB pressures in the years Shaun Hill was here.
Point being he's survived worse when he was here, so why would he die not once, but twice, under slightly better conditions? Yeah, that makes sense.

He'll ever be anyones franchise QB, but anyone who understands our QB situation would have to agree we could really use him right now. Trading him and bringing in Carr was a horrible move.
