Mays overrated S who can't cover
what if it was that we had coaches who couldn't get the best out of these players?
Zimmer is a good defensive coordinator.....so we'll see if he finds a way to use them to their best abilities. Right now the Bengals have some of the best athletes in the league with Lawson and Mays. Manny will be fine, I think he will breakout this year with a different coaching staff..and maybe a different defensive approach. Nate will also be fine, as long as they don't have him playing 10 yards off WRs constantly. I just don't know about Mays however. I still think we gave up on him too early...but hey it might be the best move for him. It also helps that Whitner and Goldson should do fine. But if Goldson leaves next year, I'm not comfortable with Reggie Smith.....so if it doesn't work out with Reggie, and Mays develops well in Cinnci..then damn...lol.

No one could have asked you to be more professional, from day one of the draft on through this trade. It's nice to see that guys like this are still around!

We may not know what the pick is until after the season. My thought is it could be a 7th if he does not make the team and as high as a 4th or 5th if he gets a good amount of playing time.

AAAAAH, when are they gonna disclose what pick it is??? Is this driving anyone else nuts?
The longer they keep that info secret the lower it probably is.

He is a well spoken young man and I too wish him the best of luck. But when we play them I hope Frank runs his ass over time and time again.

I agree here, Why would Manusky put Clements 10-15 yards off the ball, when he is a physical corner who accels in bump and run? Why not have Manny line up in different positions to take advantage of the best matchup possible for him? Most of the time when Clements got burned it was on quick hitches when he was playin 10-15 yards off the ball...you cant do that with a corner with his attributes.

Clements is still a good corner- he was just overpaid and he's not as good when matched against smaller, quicker receivers. Has any CB shutdown Larry Fitzgerald like he consistently has? But he should do a fine job in the AFC North vs. Hines Ward, Mo Massaquoi, and Anquan Boldin.
And who cares if Lawson is overrated in the 3-4? They run a 4-3 and his responsibilities will be to lockdown tight ends, and play the run well- the 2 things he excels at.

It's usually Shawntae Spencer on Larry Fitzgerald, and Shawntae does a good job on him because they played together at Pitt.
