VD's TD against Adrian Wilson last year is one of the best TD's I have ever seen.
Wilson was lined up in press coverage against VD at the 5 yard line.
VD was lined up at the right side as a slot receiver.
VD pushed Wilson back into the end zone, curled slightly towards the inside and caught the pass from A. Smith with Wilson right on his ass.
Wilson actually had a hand on the football, but couldn't jar it loose. VD's gorilla grip was too much for him.

i dont get scared about wilson in coverage, i like it when he is there as opposed to blitzing the qb or blitzing to stuff the run

Love Dockett talking smack. Adds fuel to the Niners/Cards rivalry. It feels good to at least know we have a team that is good enough to have a rivalry now haha.
ya i get the sense when cards and niners talk smack its a true rivalry, when the seahawk fans try to talk smack with niner fans, its just them trying to hold on to what they did last decade
Yeah, this is definitely the rivalry of the division. To be honest, it's the first true rival we've had since the GB playoff days. The games are always competitive and fierce as hell. Plus they always get national coverage to boot.

As long as it's all in good fun and so far Dockett hasn't crossed any lines that he shouldn't have so I'm down with some good ole fashioned smack talk among teams.
The realignment really screwed over the NFC West and left the teams in it with basically no rivals so it's good to see some rivalries and smack being thrown around.

u are right, nfc west is the only div that got screwed over on the rivalrys, falcons panthers and saints got to stay together, colts left the afc east but still kept the rivalry with new england, seahawks were the step sister of the afc west so them leaving didnt affect that division, only true rivarly they left us with was the rams, and that hasnt been the same since they left LA

all of arizona's f/a will leave next especially after they know the niners are for real i would'nt mind dockett on our team he is good imagine dockett franklin smith he can get to the quarterback and that's what we need but that's next years topic this year we are fine i think we have alot of competition at our linebacker spots this the way i have them starters haralson spikes willis lawson third down bring in la-boy, brooks and back up inside linebackers novorrow and mckillop
