He is on the decline. I would take Felix Jones or even Tashard Choice but Barber at this point is really just a short yardage/goal- line RB.

Great runner, but his running style is why his career looks like it's going to be shorter than you'd like for a RB. He's a player, no doubt, but he won't be coming here.

Marion Barber's running style helps stabilize offenses and puts doubts on defensive players. Gore/Barber Combo would be sick! Gore starter and make Barber a change of phase where he was most successful!

Agreed. IMO, our third back needs to be a multitasker, such as a speed back/PR/KR/special teamer. This type of back could also help in selling play-actions, lineup in the slot, etc.

Not the same guy he was a few years ago, his extremely physical style definitely caught up to him.
