That's all a matter of opinion.

It's got to be this. Why? They both combined for 33-3 before meeting in the Superbowl. That is the best record ever between two teams in the Super Bowl. EVER.

This is a very good question. But it depends on what you are really asking.
The best of all time QB's to ever face each other?
The best statistical match up for the Super Bowl QB's?
If all you're looking at is the QB's all time ranking. Then Montana and Marino. IMO
If you're looking for the best statistical match up. It's Manning and Brees
IMO
Montana wasn't quite Montana yet when he and Marino played. To which Marino wasn't quite Marino yet either.
Brady and Warner both weren't Brady and Warner yet.
Elway wasn't Elway yet when he played Montana.
Manning is already one of the best ever (best ever IMO) and Brees has established himself as a top QB.
To me I would say this is the best QB match up of all time. At least the most exciting one.

If we are talking strictly in terms of QB matchups I think it goes:
Montana vs Elway
Montana vs Marino
Manning vs Brees
Montana vs Elway
Montana vs Marino
Manning vs Brees

He is, but I wouldn't say he was a great QB.

Overrated.
Career Stats
W-L: 77-108
TD-INT: 173-220
QB Rating: 65.5
Why this guy is in the Hall of Fame, I have no idea
I suspect it's a combination of several things: he played in New York, he had the "Broadway" persona, and he predicted one of the greatest upsets in NFL history.
He's rubbish

I'd also like to point out that Alex Smith is on pace to have a better career statistically than Joe Namath.
Hall of Fame baby!

So true....just b/c someone is in the hof ODES NOT mean they were great or even very good. Bradshaw was Very AVERAGE at best........rode his D and running game along with 2 wr's.
Aikman was very effecient, but never had good numbers.....he was accurate, but with that OL and running back, many other average even bad qb's could of been better.
1. Montana/Marino
2. Montana/Elway
3. Brady/Warner
4. Manning/Brees
5. Favre/Bledsoe
