Saints Pro Bowlers welcome team dressed as bellhops
Posted by Mike Florio on February 1, 2010 3:25 PM ET

Quarterback Drew Brees and the rest of the Saints' Pro Bowl contingent came to Miami early, in order to make an appearance at Sunday night's all-star game. Instead of returning to Louisiana and then returning to South Florida, Brees and his Pro Bowl teammates stayed put.

The rest of the Saints arrived on Monday and, per WWL-TV, Brees and the other Saints Pro Bowlers greeted them wearing bellhop uniforms.

The photos are right here.

Vikings coach Brad Childress thinks it was a stupid idea.

I wonder how many of them actually know Bill Walsh did that.

One of them was probably watching Superbowl XVI highlights the night before.

Maybe one of the coaches did. The players probably don't know who Bill Walsh or who Joe Idaho are.

It's a socdom. A phallus holder for guys with too much package to fit into extra tight jeans. Geez, I thought everyone knew what those were.

Stupid copycat pieces of s**t
If it was a tribute to the great Bill Walsh, then they must win the SB. Otherwise, BW will haunt them for losing in the biggest game of them all...something that he's never had to go through.

Collinsworth has been recently saying that he thinks they would have won that 1st SuperBowl had they been allowed to party more before the game.

While I disagree that they would have won I do agree with his overall point is that you need to make the SuperBowl experience fun for your players to get them properly relaxed. While you do run the risk of one of your players getting into big trouble, overall it is the better strategy
Well if your gonna copy a coach might as well be Walsh
