I don't see why we'd consider Lott a SS, dude played Corner at 1 time right? He had safety skills right? I was watching that 81 NFC champship game on XMAS EVE and he was robbed of a pick. He definitely had good ball skills from what I've seen.

he isn't a short shelf life running back...safety is one of the few skill positions which can play in the league for a considerable amount of time compared to others..

I remember watching Hanks play a little. I watched a lot of games in the past from old VHS tapes my grandma recorded and gave to me.
