I think the point Birdman was trying to make is dont expect a trade that can alter the season for a team, in the NFL it just doesnt happen

exactly. I'm not saying trades don't happen, but just not like they do in the MLB when a lot of teams make trades if they are in a playoff hunt etc..

Why not wait till the season is over. I truly want to see Terrell Owens back in San Francisco, would love to see him working side by side with Crabtree and Vernon Davis.
