Thoughts?

I could get down to this…if we do some work in FA on the defense

Cooper and Pregnon round 1 and 2 would be a homerun. Both plug and play starters at arguably our two biggest needs.

Stowers in round 3 isn't exactly Latu level but he wouldn't be my first choice there. I'd honestly think strongly about doubling up on OL and taking Dunker. LT Overton and Keith Abney would also be very strong picks there IMO.

Dunker likely is gone at 92 but at 58 I've been mocking Dunker to us after taking Cooper Jr in the 1st as assuming Pregnon doesn't fall to 58. Dunker also played OT so he could be used as depth there if Trent or McKivitz went down. Add Trey Zuhn C at 171 and we're golden as he has experience playing OT, G, and C.

27. Cooper Jr WR
58. Gennings Dunker G/OT
92. Kendrick Law WR
127. Zane Durant DT
133. Sam Roush TE
138. Max Llewellyn/Keyron Crawford/Nadame Tucker EDGE
171. Trey Zuhn C

Both Cooper Jr and Law are very physical at WR and willing to block and both provide lots of YAC. Paired with Pearsall and adding Roush at TE who also is a fantastic blocker and Dunker starting at LG and our run game should get back to being explosive. And then we can all pray Zuhn develops quickly and takes over for Brendel sooner than later.

I see no point in drafting Dunker if you get Pregnon. IMO he's a IOL at the next level. Also I think the person/vibes is pushing him up the boards more than the player. Doesn't mean he won't improve, the film is up and down though.

I agree. Just showing the mock with Dunker (or even Rutledge) instead of Pregnon ^. Obv we take Pregnon if he falls to 58 but odds are he doesn't.

27. Cooper Jr WR
58. Pregnon G
92. Law WR

is what I want the most. Followed by Malachi Lawrence at #58 if he somehow is there still. Just think pairing up two physical RAC receivers up with Pearsall that like to block goes a long way towards fixing our pass game and run game.

Do you think Dunker is not worth #58? Lots of different ways to go at that pick esp if getting Cooper Jr at 27.

I'll throw Mike Washington (RB, Arkansas) as a name to keep an eye.

Agreed. I could see Kyle drafting him

That might be the most passive insulting thing I've ever read.

Would have to be at #58

From that list I'd really like to trade back from 27 to around 35-40 and land AJ Haulcy and then trade up to 50-52 for Emmanuel Pregnon G and the trade back gives us a pick in the 70s and in the 90-110 to grab Gabe Jacas at EDGE and Kendrick Law at WR

35-40. AJ Haulcy S
50-52. Emmanuel Pregnon G or Malachi Lawrence/Cashius Howell/Zion Young EDGE
70-75. Gabe Jacas EDGE or Keylan Rutledge G (if went EDGE with 2nd pick)
90-110. Kendrick Law WR
127. Tristan Leigh OT
133. Zane Durant DT
138. Kaleb Elarms-Orr LB
139. Sam Roush/Joe Royer/Dallen Bentley TE

Haulcy immediate starting FS a big hitter dawg playmaker we need on the back end
Pregnon immediate starting LG a mauler road grader plays mean and opens some big holes for CMC and James
Jacas starting EDGE ability on passing downs to pair with Bosa, Osa, Mykel, (Jacas)
Law is a Deebo-like dawg with RAC and loves to block with 4.42 speed

Hope someone falls to #27 that a team in the 30-40 range covets. Even a trade down with DEN to #30 would net us their 3rd rd pick at #94

so it sounds like Antonio Williams won't be there at 58 anymore

that's too bad

Me too brother. I like him more than his running mate Genesis.
