Jalon Walker out of Georgia please at 11, but stays at edge while my 3rd round comp pick LB Jeffrey Bassa competes with Winters job next to Warner.

I think they can stop posting mock draqfts at the top of the page. By now the Niners have drafted enough players in the first round to fill an entire roster. There was a time when we would see a few but now everyone with a computer is putting them out.

This! That's the one annoying aspect about a fan's mock. They act as if all 11 picks are going to be starters and make a difference. The reality is that maybe only about 2-3 will be starters and 5-6 will be productive backups, that's if we get lucky.

Yea, obviously you draft players that you think give you the best chance to elevate your team, but its not as simple as "would you rather have ONLY player x, or player Y ANDDDD Z" well, I mean, if player y and z end up sucking ass, we'll wish we just stayed put and took player x

With the 11th pick in the draft the San Francisco 49ers take…..the player who will start day one.

That's exactly what the 9ers need.

I gotta admit I'm starting to fall for the Shamar Stewart idea if Membou is gone.

Going against my own logic to eliminate bust potential but damnit I'm intrigued by his talent and our scheme mixing well.

Still would like to move down to do it but can't help by look at the DT depth and think if Stewart can turn into a great edge in the wide 9 how much easier it would make it for us to close out games and use the DT depth in this class to bring that DL back to top level.

Harmon and Nolen are my other two in the first.

I like some other players as well but feels like one of those 3 would be able to give us an impact starter on the DL we badly need. Stewart would need the most time to get to big impact level but I do think it may click for him in our scheme. Went back to look at his senior bowl reps and I'm sold.

Trade back and get more picks for next season. Draft best DL in the first and get the OT in the second

Or even better get Membou or Campbell in rd 1 and then use 2nd-4th rd picks on defensive lineman where there is more depth.

Yeah unless Graham or Carter is there I'm not too excited about any other DL at #11 even though it's our biggest need. We need 3 DL at least unless we plan on signing some free agents after the draft

Unpopular but I'd take Starks. Him, Mustapha, Green, and Lenior would fortify our secondary for years to come. Think when you have a young unit that have several years to gel and know how to trust each other in situations can boost development and confidence

1. Will Campbell- instant LG starter and covers Trent if he gets hurt. Hey, we want to protect our $50M investment and adding him to the line that will play pretty much all offensive snaps so why not. Great pass protector and solid in the running game. I believe it's a great pick! 33" arms baby!

Im not high on Starks and would rather go for Watts at 43. Kinda surprised Lynch hasn't drafted a safety super high since he's been here too.
