what do you mean has it been shared? It's breaking news all over the place as of today. You don't need to prove innocence. You are getting it 1000% backwards. You need to prove guilt, beyond a reasonable doubt. They can't even go to criminal trial, as there is not sufficient evidence to go to trial. Furthermore, the recent revelation is there is exculpatory evidence, meaning not only lack of evidence that he did it, but convincing evidence that he did not and could not have done it.

I havent read any articles to be fair. But I'm not saying that the guy is guilty til proven innocent. Im speaking more to the "eat crow" crowd and the "put her in prison for lying crowd." If there is clear evidence that she was lying then fine. I won't argue further as I don't care to read the article and should not be having a debate on the subject with out due diligence into researching the subject.

Edit: I did click the link that you provided. Looks like the convincing evidence that he couldn't have done it consisted of someone (could be anyone: friend, foe, family, rival punter) saying that he left the party early.

I was one that immediately believed her accusations and feel awful because the evidence is looking like she not only intended to have sex with Araiza, but she bragged about doing it.

What it's looking like is this is a classic case of a young girl who thinks she's a LOT older and more mature than she thinks she is, intentionally puts herself in a dangerous position, intentionally has sex with not one but multiple people, regrets it and makes a wild accusation with details so depraved one automatically believes, as I wrongfully did. I feel guilty for believing without proof (I've been accused wrongfully myself so should know better), feel awful for Araiza who wasn't even there when the group sex happened and because of an accusation his professional career is ruined, and I hope like hell he sues her parents (she was a minor when she committed the crime so they should be legally culpable for her slanderous accusations), and I hope the law prosecutes her for making a false police report.

So we should bring him in for a tryout right?

I wanted to draft him so badly, so I would absolutely try him out now! It made more sense when we had Gould, as Araiza could have handled kickoffs and also been a back up kicker. Still I think he'd be a better option than Wish, and cheaper too.

And hopefully he turns around and sues his accuser into oblivion for defamation.

I don't view us as in the market for a punter, Wish is one of the best around

80 yard punts are kind of generational though, and as much as I love Wishnowski for his accuracy and toughness, I would not be against bringing him in. Giving our defense some extra field to defend is one of the few subtle and cost effective ways we could improve the team imo.

but what about the Art of Punting.. Wish has every club in the bag
this Punt God only has kick the bleep out of it.. Wish can do that too, we don't often punt from our own end deep cuz we actually have an offense that moves the ball

Dan Wetzel was on Eisen this morning and mentioned Araiza still had consensual sex with the accuser and she that was 17 at the time. Araiza admitted to that. i believe that's still a problem for NFL teams. i wouldn't expect the Niners to get involved.
