Yeah, I made a thread about a punter, deal with it. Big, massive booming leg that has allowed him to crush monstrous punts, hit 50+ yard field goals and continually put San Diego State opponents in a bad position out on the field. He's had an absolutely unreal season for a punter, having broken several records already while also handling kicker duties.

This dude will be a Patriot. I remember listening to a Belichick interview a few years ago where he talked about how they prefer left-footed punters because the rotation of the ball off a lefty's foot can give punt returners issues.

The level of detail that Belichick focuses on is unreal lol.

Honestly started as a joke, but if we can get off Goulds contract and get a pick for Jimmy G, I wouldn't be mad at a third....

I for the life of me don't understand how all kickers can't punt and vice-versa. I understand different mechanics and such but that's literally all you do. Surely you can spend 30 minutes a day during practice practicing the other.

After another pathetic showing by our not so special teams, this was the kid I was thinking about. Like Mitch, but not so much that he can't be replaced. Gould hasn't been automatic ever since he got paid. Drafting a unicorn like Araiza on day 3 would solve a few ills for that part of the roster.

Im not saying being expected to do all 3 every game. I'm talking about filling in when need be and be somewhat competent.

I also would have my 3rd QB be a Taysom Hill type dude that I would have spending half his practice holding for FGs and playing special teams.
