Who is the one guy you dont want the 49ers drafting?

Their questionable punter/kicker in the fourth round while our DBs and OL go unaddressed.

at pick 12, I've seen Trevon Moehrig mocked to SF twice. Terrible use of pick 12. Not sure a safety will/should go in R1.

as long as we don't draft a kicker or punter in the first 2 days I'm good.

Ugh. Tell me about. My round one draft wishlist starting from 2005:

2005: Aaron Rodgers (kill me)
2006: Reggie Bush (I didn't know Frank was gon be Franck Gire)
2007: Calvin Johnson (Happy with round 1 though)
2008: Aqib Talib
2009: Matthew Stafford (but I was happy with Crabtree)
2010: Suh (happy with it though)
2011: Julio
2012: Luck was my pipedream, but my realistic crush was Alshon Jeffery (Jenkins instead...)
2013: Austin (yeah... ugh. But he looked so quick in college)
2014: Any of Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans or OBJ. Sigh.
2015: Amari Cooper
2016: Buckner.
2017: Mahomes. Ugh.
2918: Josh Allen. Just doesn't stop.
2019: Bosa or Williams. This was an odd year for my draft crushes. I knew Bosa was the best player, and I really wanted him, but I couldn't shake off a desire for DK Metcalf, along with Brian Burns (trade down for Burns, use the extra pick to move to get Metcalf). Not quite what I wanted, but very happy.
2020: An Alabama WR.

Basically I've gotten my draft crush ONE TIME. 1.5 if you count that I really liked Bosa and was torn between one ppick and Bosa or two picks and Burns/DK.

Granted, if I always got my draft crush we would lose, but a few times... it hurts every time I think about it. Solomon. Thomas. Brb got to go throw up.
Trey Lance

May be a one year wonder.

"He clocked the second-best 3-cone time on the team at a blistering 6.37 seconds, which would have topped anyone at the 2020 combine," Feldman wrote. "Paye's 40 is also moving at 4.57, with a solid 34-inch vertical and 30 reps on the bench press. Paye's 40 time and 4.15 pro shuttle time are better than any D-lineman or edge player who tested at the 2020 combine. His 11.3 time in the 60-yard shuttle is also elite."

In fairness a number of your draft crushes were far out of reach: Reggie Bush, Calvin Johnson, Stafford, Suh, Luck, Watkins, Evans, OBJ and Cooper.

Yeah, that's true. It still hurts after years and years of being denied.

But if we would have lost to the Texans I think we could have had Bush, if I recall correctly. However, I'm happy we got Gore over Bush (I'm sure there's a political joke in there somewhere).
