Was watching more clips on Trask so far this season. He has a weird habit of jump throwing the ball. Which is weird considering he's got good height, but to have both feet off the ground and fully arms the throw LOL. Definitely needs to get fixed in the pros.

Mobility is a bonus not a prerequisite.
Nobody would pass over a prospect if they knew that he would go on to be the next Brady or Manning and had the same mobility they possessed.

Pretty sure he runs the RPO and has kept it to rush for 10 yards a few times this season. He's no Lamar Jackson, but he's mobile enough.

He's as mobile as Josh Allen IMO.

Mobility and pocket awareness are more important than speed. Kaep was fast but his pocket awareness was horrible. Wilson isn't a burner but he has great ability to extend plays. If a QB can run 4.7 - 4.75 or better that's more than fast enough. Wilson is the most sacked QB in his first 9 seasons ever. It's partly because he has a bad O line but he also gets sacked outside the pocket trying to make plays. Instead of throwing the ball away he often eats it.

12th overall, huh? I guess I better start watching.

Watch him because he's good and the early and best candidate to be drafted by the 49ers, if Kyle does indeed draft a QB in the first round.

I honestly feel like Wilson and Lance will be off the board by the time we pick. It's going to be between Mac Jones, Kyle Trask, or Jaycee Horn. And Trask can be an intriguing fit with Shanahan.

I'll have to watch more BUT for whatever reason I get a Christian Ponder vibe lol
Mello as a draft evaluator is laughable.

LOL no way. When Mullens started playing more, I thought "man, he reminds me of Christian Ponder" HAHA!
But no, disagree with the Kyle Trask-Christian Ponder comparison. As of right now, a floor could be Alex Smith and roof could be Ryan Tannehill. For now...doesn't mean he can't develop into Dak Prescott, which is his ceiling potential, I think.

I don't see the arm talent of Dak or the mobility with Trask.
I want no part of him as of right now

Don't get the "Trask is not mobile" talk. I've been watching since he took over last year and he's plenty mobile.
In regards to Dak, check out this scouting report during his draft:
Weaknesses
- Location and accuracy are generally poor, makes receivers adjust to off-target balls and minimizes yards after catch
- Makes very poor decisions at times, forces passes into coverage
- Footwork can get sloppy, will fall off his base throwing to his left, loses accuracy/velocity
- Doesn't possess the heralded "power arm" that he was once rumored to have
- Deep ball accuracy is lacking, touch passing needs a compass
- Does not throw with anticipation, poor timing leads to late throws to all areas of the field
- Not a great athlete, heavy-footed and lacking lateral quickness and explosiveness as a runner
- Lacks accuracy and velocity when throwing on the move
That's why he fell in the draft but he developed mightily under Garrett. Trask has that potential, in my opinion.
