Imagine being the Eagles and having passed on Jefferson, Higgins and Aiyuk to instead take Reagor.
Justin Jefferson has been incredible, and a lesson for us that sometimes a player's perceived limitations(ie can only play in the slot) are situational and not on the individual.

Same for Kittle too lucky for us.

Yep, Kittle is a great example of this.

Let's be real Jeudys last game did not count
Jefferson wasn't supposed to be as explosive as some of the other guys and Claypool wasn't supposed to be a good enough route runner. So much for perceptions.

Claypool was the one for me that I wouldn't touch even if he was there in the 5th.

Didn't look natural as a WR at the combine. Even my buddy who is a die hard ND fan who wasn't a fan.

Also wasn't a fan of McGlichey for what it's worth
Kittle was a lot of luck (Thanks God Denver picked Jake Butt right before Kittle).

Jefferson was definitely considered a first round talent I was hoping the Niners would get him: 111 catches, 1540 yards, and 18 td last year. LSU and Alabama are wide receiver U's. Also, LSU/Ohio State are also great for defensive backs. Should always have LSU play makers on the draft radar.

You just can't tell sometimes. College systems and coaching as well as the competition is so varied that it can disguise talent that is just waiting to be unleashed. Metcalf was supposed to be a terrible route runner and a one trick pony. Well he was doing what they asked him to do in college. Most colleges don't have sophisticated passing schemes. They just rely on their athleticism. When he came to Seattle he worked his butt off with Wilson and is getting better all the time. He still drops a few but he can make some amazing plays that more than make up for the drops. I like the Niner receivers but I sure wish we has one of those big fast guys that are matchup nightmares. A lot of fans are hoping it's Hurd but he can't seem to get healthy.

Everything a lot of people said about DK Metcalf was true: Freakish athlete that would be a nightmare in a system that asks him to function within a vertical route tree. That's exactly what's happened. Then he gets the best deep-ball thrower in the game to boot. Most people were expecting him to go early in the first even with all the criticism about his 3 cone.

Higgins, Claypool and Ruggs have the best QB´s.

What Lamb and Jeudy have done is really great considering their QB´s and we can say the same about Aiyuk.

Jeudy, Lamb, Aiyuk, Shenault have had less than ideal QB situations. Higgins will be suffering from this as well.
Lamb is trash...
