Cardinals taking him. I can feel it

albert Beer on outkicking the cover said everything thing he's hearing is it will be Murray at #1

I'm not about to count our Bosa chicken before it's hatched but someone else said it...why would the Cards even meet with Murray if Rosen was their guy 100%? Jets aren't meeting with him. We're not meeting with him.

Do I think Arizona ends up taking him #1 overall? I don't think so. I do hope that Raiders make the jump to #1 to do it. Of course unless they trade away Carr I'm going to be nervous as hell that they will shock us all and the move up would be for Bosa(would be a total Gruden move to do something that extreme)

Ideally we see Rosen traded and Arizona takes Murray. I don't know if he's going to be the next Russell Wilson but I know I'll feel much better about facing Arizona with him when we have Arik Armstead(strictly due to his height), Deforest Buckner(height and talent) and Bosa(talent) on our DL.

Would actually hate to see the Cards trade down with Oakland cuz it will likely net them #4 and one of the low firsts Oakland got plus maybe more which likely means they get Josh Allen or Quinnen Williams at #4 and get another good player with that lower pick which to me is way worse having those guys in the division vs Murray.

Huh? Have you seen his resume before his stop here? I had doubts from day 1.

And I haven't suggested he can't develop into a better GM.

What I clearly stated -- however -- is an extreme curiosity as to why they'd want a staff unproven in their scouting/NFL Draft skills to trade down for lower picks...?? This is generally what I'd want from a front office I FULLY TRUST,...like New England, for example.

Unless some other team in the top 5 is just dying for 1 of the 2 QBs,...as a fan, I want us to stay put.

Absolutely, but if Bosa goes #1, there will be teams calling to get a QB.

Does not mean they will be offering a fair deal.

If there are teams calling to move up for a QB then they'll be calling Arizona first. If Arizona which appears to be desperate to trade down passes, its a good sign that the offers are crap.
Oops

You mean his previous stop as a TV analyst? Lynch wasn't a member of any NFL front offices in a position of authority prior to coming in as the 49ers GM. He had next to no experience other than consulting with Denver in the offseason a few years as a learning experience with his friend John Elway and at Elway's request.

As for his staff, every person he hired was an AWESOME hire. He surrounded himself with very experienced and respected personnel and front office guys.

You sure you know wtf you're talking about?

I could see teams making more serious offers to us for a couple reasons:

1. They already traded up for Rosen last year and have the same GM (I've seen you point this out on here)
2. We have a QB needy team drafting right after us

If Arizona was as gung ho on Murray as some think, they probably wouldn't take anything reasonable for the pick.

*and when I say "more serious" offers for our pick, I mean more in line with the pick point chart. Not a better offer than for #1, obviously.
Still think Arizona trades Rosen and takes Murray because it's the GM & Coach's best chance to keep their jobs past next season. They still have too many holes to fill for them to realistically think they are going to be competitive.

Another losing season with Rosen and the GM is gone for sure and might take the coach with him if the new GM isnt a Kingsbury fan.

A losing season with Murray who showed potential in the process would likely keep the two for at least one more year. The GM would even be given credit for rectifying a mistake with Rosen if they could hit on whichever pick they receive in the trade.
Anyone think Shanny trades the #2 pick to the Giants for OBJ even though Bosa is on the board?

Yes! If that trade is available, OBJ is pretty much the best player at his position!

Bosa is a question mark at best!

No. Shanahan has proven he can make it work with what we have at WR. We need a ER and Bosa is the best option to get us 12+ sacks next year.
