Desean has impressed each day at the Senior Bowl practices and creates separation in his sleep. His route running is legit and his "drops" that he's had at the senior bowl clearly don't seem like a issue with him being the all time Penn State receptions leader. He looks like a game changer and reminds me of a faster Crabtree. He can go up and get it as well and would love him as a steal in Day 2.
NOTABLE SENIOR BOWL STANDOUTS*
RB/H-Back Jaylen Samuels (NCSU) - Guy is a threat from any position on the field and can catch very well as well as block. Would like to see more of him as a runner but looks to be a solid day 3 pickup but not if he keeps ballin at the Senior Bowl. Will be an interesting prospect to watch in the game.
RB Kalen Ballade (ASU) - Have watched him through college and definitely feels like a better pro than college type player. A guy of his size shouldn't be as fast as him and as fluent at running routes. If he's the selection in day 2 for the RB of the future with Coach Turner mentoring him, I think we will be just fine.
DE/EDGE Kemoko Turay (RU) - Huge prospect (6'6, 230) but has bend and a rush off the edge better than that of Davenport (in mocks in the top 10). He seems more polished and he hasn't even touched his potential. Would love to see more tape but seems to be tearing up the Senior Bowl. Would love him as a future edge rusher for us.
CB Siran Neal (JSU) - Guy has been lockdown all week in Mobile and I love his feetwork. Has nice combo of size and speed and is aggressive. Would be a day 3 steal due to the strong CB class this year. 6'1 200 nice size.
