Draft positions of 2017 All Rookie Team

Gil Brandt just posted his team. With so much talk about what value when, it is interesting to look at when the members of that team were drafted.

11 were taken in the first round.

6 in the 2nd round.

5 in the 3rd.

2 in the 4th.

1 in the 5th.

1 in the 5th.

1 UDFA - punter.

It is interesting though coincidental that both RBs, Kamara and Hunt, were 3rd round picks.

So while one might argue for a different selection here or there, for a team looking for impact players those are clearly 1st or 2nd round picks. From there on you either get lucky or are just filling roles.

Browns managed to get their #1 overall pick in but not their other 2 1st round picks, 2nd round pick or 1st pick of the 3rd round.

Njoku is far superior to Engram imo but you know Kizers not Manning.

Don't get how Jarred Davis got the nod over Zach Cunningham
