Allen Lazard--WR Iowa State

It's a good free agent crop for receivers as well. I'd love to see the Niners steal Allen Robinson from the Jaguars.

I think that's everyone on here, sign Allen Robinson, if not I like Lazard but I think Tate and Ateman are better and would rather 1 of them..

Robinson was pretty frustrated with Bortles last year. Probably wouldn't take much arm wrestling to make this happen.

Even if Niners get Allen Robinson, Lazard would be great as a redzone specialist, possibly selected in the 5th round. Tate and Ateman may go a round or two higher than Lazard.

Lazard's measurables look good on paper.

6'4' h
227 lb
9 7/8 hands
32 1/2 arms

He runs a solid low to mid 4.5 and he's gonna jump up boards.

I don't see a low 4.5 from him.

Plays like Kelvin Benjamin. Will be used similarly. Interested to see him play.
I thought he looked very average yesterday, had a ton of drops, zero separation and didn't look great on contested catches either. Can't see Kyle being impressed
"On Lazard, he had a fantastic day creating separation -- particularly for a 6-foot-4 wideout -- and demonstrating his ball skills on a few catches well outside his frame. On Gallup, he glides all over the field, making room for his quarterback to get him the football. He's also well-built and has reliable hands. He's been outstanding in "

ITP guys said he's been a little underwhelming.

Allen Lazard WR Iowa State improved with his hands today and showed good concentration, but still has a lack of fluidity to his game. He's slow into and out of his breaks and doesn't use his size to an advantage as much as you'd like for a 6'5" receiver.

He was better today but did have a fumble in team drills, still looks pretty stiff out there
Iowa State wideout Allen Lazard was the most impressive player -- for either team -- on Thursday. He made an outstanding back-shoulder catch for a touchdown early in the session and finished with three more dazzling displays of his high-pointing ability. He also created separation on a dig route in team work and was found by Baker Mayfield. In the red zone, he also made a tough grab on a slant against tight coverage. Lazard has a fun combination of size, leaping ability, strong hands, and deceptive athleticism.

From CBS again
This guy sucks. Slow, lumbering, can't run routes, atrocious feet, struggles catching the ball at times, double catching into his body.

"But he's a big-body WR. 6'4" 220 lbs. I don't care if he sucks, he's big. " - webzone
