The guy just declared for the draft. Some intriguing similarities to former teammate Alvin Kamara. Not sure where he'll project, but he's an exciting player who I think would look good in our offense.

He's so good and so underrated. I love his running style.

Love his ability to change direction on a dime. Kyle wants the guys that can create opportunities for themselves, and i think this kids running style will translate well to the nfl considering his vision and cutting ability.
He has quick feet, and despite his slim build, doesn't go down too easy. Down for some John Kelly in the 5th or so. Despite all that I don't see John Lynch drafting another running back with any sort of character concerns. Kelly was suspended during the season after being given a citation for marijuana possession.

I know people will disagree but Mary Jane isn't a character concern for me. It's more of a you did something dumb when you know you're under a microscope kind of thing. But still a ding. Just not on character.

If we can't get Michel in the 3rd then get this guy. I forgot about him because he plays for UT and I tried to forget their whole season but this man can tote the rock with the best of them.

Totally, I feel the same way. Only reason I would say Lynch might consider it as a cause for concern is because he put himself before the team by breaking team policy and putting himself in position to be suspended a game, by doing something stupid in the middle of the season. I didn't mean to allude the kid has poor character, probably should have classified it as being young and exhibiting poor judgement. By getting in trouble like that he left his teammates out to dry.
I know plenty of athletes that smoke, regardless of season, they just didn't get caught haha. Only mentioned this because I do believe everything is taken into consideration when teams are thinking about investing in a player and it may impact where he is taken some. I'm sure it willl come up in the interview process and if he nails everything else I'm sure it'll be a non-isssue

Poor man's Guice. Has a chip on his shoulder and plays more physical than his size would make you think.

No thanks, looks like a Pr*ck, doing the Gator sign to Florida, kicking out at people holding his ankles, getting in people's faces.
I don't want Prima donna's, can you imagine him getting in Bobby Turner's face!!!! More than enough quality RB's in this draft to avoid idiots

I'm late to this party because I didn't watch many UT games, but this guy's tape is freaking awesome!! Holy crap is he good. There's no combo of traits that I love in RBs more than a low center of gravity and balance. Kelly has it in spades. He runs hard as hell. Yards-after-contact monster. Always battles to fall forward for extra yards. I'm surprised he's only listed at 205 lbs because he plays substantially bigger that.
TBH, I felt like I was watching Kareem Hunt's tape again... I have a new RB draft crush.

Kelly's combo of balance and lower-body strength is ridiculous. He works through arm tackles and glancing hits with ease. This reminds me a lot of what I loved about Kareem Hunt last year.
Yards-after-contact machine. Should've been TFL, but Kelly refused to go down. His tape is chock-full with plays like this.

Kamara speaks very highly of him, saying he looks to take someone's head off every run. I worry about how it translates to the NFL at his size
