Wimbush missed a wide open St. Brown on that flea flicker. He's a horrible QB - locks onto one target and isn't accurate at all. Sadly, Ian Book isn't any better.

They missed him open quite a bit today. Think he could make it to the 3rd or 4th round if he comes out this year?

Early 3rd round is as late as I see him going. He'd be a steal there in my opinion with his size, speed, and route running. It's not his fault ND doesn't have a QB.

Anyone know his age? I saw him listed at 21, but the website didn't look too credible.
I noticed that a good number of the WRs in this draft are older.

St. Brown turned 21 September 30th. 21-22 is pretty normal. Calvin Ridley is exceptionally old for a non-redshirt junior at 23. Burnett from USC is more than a year younger than St. Brown at 20 with an October Birthday. It's interesting that they're in the same high school class as Ridley who would have turned 20 as a high school senior.
Age is another positive for St. Brown as he may he physically developing and getting stronger. It's a negative for Ridley.

Good stuff. Thx.
Age is definitely a plus for St. Brown.

I'd think Eq. Is right up your alley in terms of a football player. Look up workout vids of his little brothers. Have to imagine his dad worked him out with the same level of intensity and attention to detail when he was younger

I'm a Notre Dame fan, and while he is talented and underrated, I wouldn't say that he's the most talented WR in this class and his route running is second to none. However, I do agree that the combine will shoot up his draft status, big-time.
When I watch his games - he's open so often but doesn't get the ball. I think he runs very polished cross, hitch, and post routes and his hands are terrific. If I've to take 1 WR in the first 2 rounds...I'd take him.
His route running is why I think Shanahan would love to develop this guy in his offense with Garoppolo at QB
He's very smooth and natural when changing direction. Definitely believe he'll be great fit.

This is one WR that I like. What's his draft projection?

Not the highest floor, but probably the highest ceiling out of all of the big and tall receivers in this years class. His family is like the Lavar Ball family of football, only not douchey.
All 3 Brown brothers are savants of football. Their dad has been training them for the NFL their entire lives, and as an ex Mr Olympia, he knows what it takes to dedicate yourself to being a champion.
He definitely lacks in aggression, and doesn't use his size well in contested catch scenarios, but I don't think this is due to lack of ability. His dad has put such an emphasis on route running, footwork, agility drills, and hands that I just don't think it's a part of his game, yet.
As for the Brown family, Equanimeous is the tallest of the 3 kids, but arguably the least talented. Go look up highschool footage of his little brothers. I'd be ecstatic if we draft EQ, then wait for his brothers and draft them too. A WR corps made up entirely of his family, based on projection, could be the top corps in the league. They are that special.

He is a steal that he could learn from garçon. .that is why I think we should trade down in the first round for defense and round 3& 4 go offense
