When I was put on to this kid I couldn't believe his ability. Then realized he was hurt which is why I didn't know him (don't follow college at all beyond draft).
I mean we could say 9-10 is high for him, but I'm thinking he may be legit around there. Especially if he shows that speed at the combine.
He is a full package 3 down back. Reminds me of gore and Lynch which is why I think Seattle would draft him in a heart beat. Pete obviously loves Lynch and we all know he respects the hell out of Gore.
I think whatever team drafts him will be very happy they did.

You say 3 down back, but does he give you much in the passing game?

I'm sorry Hero, as a pure runner, sure I could go for that, but when you factor Barkley's recieving skills it isn't close, especially in our offense.

I love Guice as a runner, and I really hope he doesn't go to the Seahawks, but I want an every down guy who's a matchup nightmare.

How many catches did Devonta freeman have in college? How about Tevin Coleman? Melvin Gordon? None of them were stud pass catchers in college (or asked to catch balls) they've all shown they can do it at the next level.

LOL. The idea that this guy is being hyped as a better prospect than Barkley around here is pure comedy.

I've never said he was better than Barkley. I simply belive he's the best running back after Barkley lol
He will be fine catching passes. Can't be any worse than Hyde lol

Source told me that LSU RB Derrius Guice is timing mid-4.4s at 221 lbs during combine training.
