Mitch "Mr Biscuit" Trubisky-QB-North Carolina

Sack fumble was bad. How do you fail to see/sense the rush coming on the right side? Only one play, but definitely an odd one.
Great call on Tribisky. Florida state blown a lot of coverages but the kid stands in the pocket looks down field and most important don't turn the ball over.

He's had a lot less time to throw in the 2nd half but he is still finding ways to make plays happen, eluding pressure, keeping his eyes downfield and being decisive.
Good call Phoenix. If the Niners decide to add a Myles Garrett instead of a QB in the top 5, this kid would be a good prospect for the 2nd or 3rd round.
North Carolina with a lot of big screwups that are going to cost them the game. Dumb penalties, fumble on the goal line, defensive lapses, botched PAT...meh.

What does this have to do with Trubisky?

On to actual QB discussion. The last TD looks nice on the stat sheet but was an actual better play from the WR then the QB.
If Trubisky can get them into FG range here, wow.
NC clutch as hell. Trubisky overthrew Switzer on that drive but likely would have had a completion if not for the pass interference that led to the FG. Hard to fault him for much. He was the beneficiary of some great plays by Switzer and especially Jackson on that screen play but he stayed poised, he was generally accurate, had a pretty good game overall.

Good win for the Tarheels. Trubisky is one to keep an eye on.
Stewart Mandel ‏@slmandel Trubisky season stats. 76 percent completions, 1,711 yards, 13 TDs, 0 INTs.
this qb class is looking pretty strong thus far

This year and next year. I imagine we'll get a couple QBs in the next two drafts
