If it doesn't require our 1st next year I would do the deal for Watkins. Is this realistic compensation? ^^^
In the above scenario we still have a 2nd round pick and a 3rd comp so that is enough to grab a CB and OL/S/DL

It will definitely have to be the Raiders. We aren't going to trade any higher than that.
I doubt the Raider would deal with us but who knows.
Why not? They are in another conference. If we are helping them, what would they have against it?

It will take a first rounder next year. That is pretty standard to move up that high.

Really? We have SIX picks in the top 100.
The Raiders have good reason to get the picks from us, and we have good reason to move up and get Watkins. It would work out for both teams.

Why no rumors of Jax or Cleveland. Seems like they could use picks as well?

Sammy Watkins will spend a lot of time on the Injured List and miss lots of playing time. He is a wonderful athlete but is VERY, VERY soft! Two years ago, in a game against LSU, he "hurt" his ankle VERY early in that game. He took a big hit from an LSU DB and was out the majority of the game. He doesn't like contact and is VERY soft! I would not waste a high draft pick on someone who is going to spend most of their time on the side line "injured"!

Some have said the same thing about Crabtree and really it's arguably true...

I have a question.
Did #22 and half the Maryland defense enjoy getting run over by Sammy Watkins?
Obviously Watkins didn't enjoy it, because he hates contact.

Lions making play to move up and get him to pair with Megatron. Stupid, but ballsy.

Because we are the cross bay rival that is why.

That is a fan label not a front office label. If the Raiders don't make a deal because of a "rivalry" then they're even stupider than they look, which is pretty f**king stupid.

Our WR position is pretty underwhelming. You guys think Sammy Watkins could be had in a trade? Bills elected not to take his 5th year options. Good sign that they are done with him. They may be willing to part with him for mid to low round pick.
Good wr with potential to be a #1 but cant stay healthy. Worth a shot i think. we have the cap space to take on his contract

lol I saw the thread was bumped and saw people talking about trading several early draft picks for him and didn't notice the date of those posts. Thought I was in the twilight zone with so many willing to give up that much for him.
He can't stay healthy and kind of a knucklehead and may not be willing to put in the work he should. I'd certainly take a flier on him if he was available to see if a change of scenery can do the trick.
