yup. nfldraftscout.com was a website run by Rob Rang, who was an amateur scout while he was a full time HS teacher. He did a good job of evaluating talent, producing informative write-ups, and predicting the rounds they'd be drafted in. He had a good enough track record for a long enough time that CBS bought him and his site, and merged them with CBS sports. Typing in nfldraftscout.com will now redirect you to the CBS nfl draft page.

This link should avoid the redirect to CBS NFL draft page.

He's such a punk, always copping out with his 5th place ties.

nice, thanks
Yeah but at least he stuck with Landry, after that less than stellar combine showing I'm sure some wrote him off. Then again, it will make for a much better "I told you so" on his part if Landry produces. It is a cop out for sure, he's pretty good but makes mistakes like all scouts/draft evaluators. Although I do feel that he sometimes touts certain players just to be the one guy who goes against the grain. For instance in 2009 where he claimed that Ayers would be the best defensive player in the draft, in 2-3 years. It just seemed like he was going out on a limb because the pros of being right were worth the risk of being wrong (which analysts often are). His WR rankings have usually been alright for the most part. None of these analysts usually hit on the mid round guys who end up being steals though.

National Football Post is known for their unusual (and I'm being kind) rankings. If I'm not mistaking, I think they had Cam Newton as a 3rd round pick in '11 and Ricky Stanzi as the top rated player in the entire draft in 2012. Something crazy like that.

Didn't Michael Lombarbi start up NFP, then bail after the first year? Not a great foundation, IMO. Sucked so bad at evaluating talent that he got bounced from the Browns and the Raiders. Wow.

I think he bailed after 2 years, but yah, went on to NFL.com. Straight scumbag.
