Yeah, I'm with you, Gibblets. I got a feeling it's him over Cyprien at 31.
If I were to wager, I'd put money on Reid and/or Cyprien at 31. Makes too much sense...but then again Baalke is at the helm....lol.
Yeah, they've got to take the safety at 31, because the Ravens who are in for a safety to replace Reed, will snag him before he gets to 34.

Wish they could get Sheldon Richardson. But at 31 or 34, I see them taking Tank Carradine.

Unless their guy isn't Cyprien or Reid. I could see them taking Swearinger in the mid-late 2nd.

Good, that'd be good news for us.
Phillip Thomas late 2nd or early 3rd.

This draft is full of Goldons, no need to take one early, and none of these safeties are Earl Thomas.
Expect a versatile dlineman early OR an impact player in a "non-need" position.
The secondary is fine. I'd rather have the Fresno safety anyways.

I think a pass rusher is at or near the top of baalke's wish list, whether it is a dlineman (tank Carradine) or a olb (jarvis jones if he falls, or a corey lemonier/jamie collins later in draft)
I also think they will take another receiver high, perhaps with the 1st pick
everyone is screaming to take a safety....i think the free safety pick might not come until round 3 (josh evans, dj swearinger)
many think trading a pick for a 2014 would be a good thing...another way to shoot for possible high picks in future drafts would be to take a qb and develop him so he shows promise...green bay used to do this alol the time and got a number of picks for guys like mark brunell, matt hasselback and aaron brooks...if a tyler bray is on the board around late round 3, might niners take a chance on him

He's dropping down draft boards because of his size, but he has an endless motor and a knack for being around the ball. I think he played at around 270 in college, so you would think he'd project to be an OLB. I think this kid will actually grow into a solid 3-4 DE though, he's got the frame. Or at least provide pass rush depth in the event Brooks or Aldon went down. Haralson isn't going to get it done in pass rush. Bjoern Werner will. His football mentality reminds me of Frank Gore. Almost like he has retard strength (excuse the bigoted remark) like his entire life is football. He seems like a kid who plays for the love of the game, not the money. His stats speak for them self and are much better than top prospect Dion Jordan's. We would likely have to trade up to pick 20-23 to snag him. Hope he's in a Niner uniform next season.
I doubt Werner would be successful as a 3-4 DE. His teammate however, Tank Carradine might. Alex Okafor is another guy I could see being a good 3-4 DE.
Besides, Werner will be long gone by the time we pick.

Yeah, I'd be happy with D. Jones, too, but I'm on the "Spank for Tank" wagon for now.
