Like Banks a lot despite slow 40. Excellent ball skills, can play man and zone coverage, played against top competition, etc.

I think breaks my heart he's my favorite CB I wouldn't mind trading up for him but it will cost way to much

We don't know that for sure. I expect him to be gone, but wouldn't be surprised if he was still on the board late in the 1st round.

The 49ers had better look closely at film of David Amerson...getting absolutely torched by Cordarrelle Patterson.

I like this guy also, he is a playmaker and those long arms are a huge plus

I heard he had a terrible season in general. Getting torched by the consensus #1 WR in the draft isn't shocking.

At any rate, Joel Patton, the 49ers Director of College scouting was at his Pro Day yesterday. So, I'm pretty sure they've watched the film.

Amerson still had 5 picks and 11 pass breakups last year. More picks than Milliner, Trufant, Rhodes, Banks, Alford, and Ryan.
Get him and make him a FS. From everything I've read that will most likely be his best position.

Wouldn't mind getting Simon and developing him for next year when we could lose Rogers and Brown. A pair of big corners in Culliver and Simon would be nice for our defense.

All these CB's have the same problem stiff hips look more like Safeties to me

LOL....wut? I can see that with Amerson, but Banks and Rhodes are pretty smooth and held up in coverage against a variety of wide receivers.
