Do we still go after a WR with one of our first four picks??

That was serious. A much worse injury than Kyle Williams. He tore ACL and MCL. And it was late in the season. He may not play a single snap in 2013.

The team still needs long-term help at WR. Most of the guys on the roster at WR are short term contributors: Boldin, Manningham, Williams. The only guy on the WR depth chart that will be on the team in 2015 is Crabtree, and possibly Jenkins. So, with all the selections the team possesses, it surely will address WR at some point.

Yes, we'll get a good prospect in the third round.

We just have to have him stay out of East SF (aka Oakland) from being part of trouble. That is if we draft him.

Yes, Crabtree and Jenkins going forward and draft choices for the other spots (within a year or two). Williams--maybe; Ginn--no; Manningham--long term rehab and a big contract doesn't work. Boldin should be a better short term solution than Moss was. My only question is, will the draft pick be a project as Jenkins was or will they go high and hope for an NFL ready guy?

My mock draft will feature THREE WRs.
DeAndre Hopkins in the 2nd
Stedman Bailey in the 4th or 5th
Ace Sanders in the 6th
Until we have 2 or 3 WRs that have ACTUALLY produced while in a 9er uniform under contract we have to throw picks and money at this problem.
In my book, both of the last two seasons did not end in superbowl wins because of poor WR depth.
Do you really want to see that happen a third time?????

Da'Rick Rodgers late 2nd and Ace Sanders in the 5th.
Let's just say we use a 4th on Lattimore that leaves:
1st on D
2nd on D
3rd on D
3rd on D
3rd/4th on D
Lets say we go BPA at each of those.
I think that could make us a pretty bad ass team. Even more so

After Minny traded away Percy, I can see Tavon going to the Vikings.

I hope Zack Ertz is available in the 3rd for us .....plus bring back D-Love , our playbook will expand if we can throw some 3 TE formations at the defense when we get into the redzone.
But if we grab a WR with one of our first 4 picks , I hope it's a WR that can stretch the field , we have yet to acquire that speed receiver to take the top off the defense
don't see that happening at all. he'll be gone by the 2nd round
Austin would be the only mismatch receiver 49ers should target. Keenan Allen looks more like a Vikings bound to me

If the best player available when we make one of the first four picks is a wide receiver, Baalke should and will draft him.

Pretty sure it was the ACL and the PCL.
