lamicheal james?

i dont trust him returning punts

really? thats one of the reasons we drafted him so i'm pretty sure he will be inserted in that spot, and he's prob fielding punts everyday at practice, so he'll be ready when the time comes

just needs to stop going full retard on Sundays - but yea he has been fielding punts every day with Ginn, Williams and Cox. Right now James has to show that much improvement though in order to justify us giving him a shot.
Marcus Latimore is a player through and through

If he can stay injury free this year he will be all of that. His team mate, last year, Jeffrey had pro written all over him too. Though aging Smith is still all that at IDL. So looking at first rate Nose Guards instead of a runner is well it is a bit unnecessary

He didnt look that great returning punts during the pre-season, hopefully he improves if we dont resign ginn.
Interesting lists Justin.

I wonder what the mock would look like, would Jarvis Jones go 1st overall? I can't remember the last time an OLB went #1.

I expect us to pick again in the 30 range, hoping of course 32nd, but in that area, I would look at these guys.

FS TJ McDonald
C Barrett Jones (I would draft him at Center)

I would NOT draft a 1st round NT, it seems clear we aren't using a NT a whole lot, look at Sopoaga's snap counts, 7 in week 1 and 8 in week 2, total of 15 snaps out of 137 total snaps in 2 games. I think those wanting a Lotolele(sp.) or Hankins, Jenkins, Williams might be a long shot.

Being my usual cap guy, I think we look toward the above 2 spots, we look away from OLB, we already have to eventually pay Aldon Top 10 money/Big Money Extension, and decide on AJ Jenkins in 2014 on top 20 money at WR.

I think baring a bad season, QB is a no go, too much tied up in Alex and Kaep.

RB would be a no-no, Gore, Hunter and James all signed for next season, plus who knows on Jacobs. Same goes for FB, Miller is the future here, plus we use DL on jumbo plays.

TE, not likely. Vernon is paid Top 5 TE money, so adding another potential Top 20 TE money wouldn't make sense.

Maybe OT, but honestly, we have 2 1st round Tackles, and a 1st round Guard, I can't see the team adding another tackle or guard when we need to extend Davis and Iupati at some point. So Center is the one spot I would look.

DL I think DE would be the only spot, unless we extend Justin Smith, we also have McDonald being paid good money.

ILB not likely if we feel Bowman is signable.

CB seems unlikely, paying Rogers good money, Brown is due an extension.

FS likely, and SS not likely.
^^^

right now for a 1st rounder I would go DE,NT, OLB, FS/SS

The drop off for Ice was the constant nickel package...remember we are great at stopping the run and that starts up front. I don't think OLB has a great chance but I will say it has a chance. Having a strong rotation of guys that have the ability to be 3 down players that can get to the QB when need be would be big. A lot depends on Goldosn...if he goes we have to go after a guy in either rounds 1 or 2. I really doubt Spillman has the ability and Robinson seems more like the go to backup.

yep look for a normal snap count for ICE since we'll be facing AP. We'll also see Aldon finally play extensively at a true OLB position.

Honestly I am kind of saying Free Safety or bust in round 1 this year. I'd really love to see Goldson keep this stellar form going and have another monster year but if he doesnt then id go FS for sure in round 1.

I know its Boring but I think we should go D-line or O-line.

O line will not be first round pick everything is settled but c and I think killgore is being groomed for that
We do need some T deepth however

It all depends on FA it could be NT S TE or OLB

too early for rankings IMO, we are just starting to get into the meat of the schedule in CFB.
