Argument for yes: We have plugged a lot of secondary needs in free agency and could do without our 2nd pick in order to get the clear-cut best guard prospect in a while to plug our only glaring hole. Plus we have a crush on Stanford players.
Argument for no: Zeitler or Konz will be available (or perhaps Fleener or Hill is the right direction in round 1), so it's not worth giving up another high pick for DeCastro.
Thoughts?

That should get us into the mid-late teens, right?

You think RB in round 2 is the move, huh? I think I'm on the "wait until 2013" bandwagon there. What's your RG plan?

Plug a RG into the 2nd round then. Either way, I would not make that trade.

If we signed a starting RG we would have literally zero needs by my calculation. That'd be a fun draft.

DeCastro looks like a franchise Guard. Still, the answer is NO!

Man!!!!! Iupati and DeCastro? Drool................
It's tempting but this move would be too expensive. It's much more realistic trading up into the mid second round to get Silatolu or Osemele.

Wouldn't be enough ammunition to move that far up the board. If you look at the draft value chart, it would only move us up to the 18th slot, and that is not going to be enough, since I expect DeCastro to be gone by the 14th pick, at worst.

This is what I have been thinking all along.
