Well, folks. It's finally here. The OTC Big Board. As stated a thousand million zillion kajillion times already by MadDog and myself, this is NOT a ranking and NOT a seven round mock. A mock outside of the first round is straight-up impossible because of the sheer volume of trades that occur. This board projects the general slot area that I believe these players will fall. It may not be the exact spot, but the closer, the better.
For fun, I have specifically slotted the Niners picks. Knowing Baalke though, there are sure to be trades and it's doubtful we exit the draft with the same pick slots. Please let me know if you see any errors like a player listed twice or names misspelled. With that said.. Let the fun begin.

Nice job! So you think Brandon Brooks is going to be a fringe 2nd/3rd guy? Wow! Thought he would be a late 3rd. What's making him move up the boards so much? Is it like Silatolu? Would Brooks be worthy of such a pick?
And, do you think we would move up in the second for someone or stay put? It seems the talent tier will start dropping after the mid second.
Liked the new Mock, too!

Deepest positions are WR, DL, and OLB. But they are also the most top-heavy, meaning the best guys should almost all be gone by the end of the third.
Why is Brooks a 2nd rounder? Outstanding East-West Shrine week where he was dominant + These Measruables 6-5 346... and clocked a 4.99. Hitting Sub 5.00 at almost 350 pounds is absolutely unheard of. It's remarkable.

OTC, thanks for the hard work. Haven't watched Streeter at all and would be fine with Josh Norman in the third or for that matter Konz in the first but if it fell this way I'd be very happy.
If we don't get Fleener and instead get Konz I would be very happy with either Harrison Smith or Markell Martin in the second as well.
Man, so many options for the team, this draft is gonna be fun.

LOVE IT. If the draft fell that way, I'd be ecstatic. You went right down my personal checklist for positions of need and took the players that I like.
1. Fleener: as a webzone darling, I see a lot of value in 3rd downs and redzone proficiency.
2. Brooks: I like big OG's. If he can control his weight, his mobility is incredible. I'm going to guess that the Niners weight room will be better than Miami-Ohio
3. Streeter: I really like the idea of grabbing a project WR with a high ceiling. Streeter can play behind the vets and grow into a future spot.
4. Wolfe: I like the idea of some depth to compete with the young guys at DE. I kind of feel like NT depth is a bigger need, but I like Wolfe's upside.
5. Bethel: I don't know anything about this kid, but I like the idea of drafting a CB to develop behind the vets.
6. Smith: after the CB, I was hoping you'd grab a developmental RB...ta dah.
7. Good: ILB are good special teams players. I wouldn't mind see a S in this spot, but its all about BPA at this point in the draft.

You have Kirk Cousins as a 5th rounder? Interesting. I think he would be a great steal, and would be very surprised if he lasted past the 3rd.

I like Cousins more in the 3rd round, but it's a matter of whether a team will draft a QB in what is a weak class IMO. You have the 2(Luck and RG3) and then the rest that aren't all desirable. Tannehill, Weeden and Oswieler will all get over drafted.

M.Lombardi said onPath To The Draft tonight that he sees S M.Barron being drafted in the top 16. You have him rated as a second rounder, what are his limitations in your opinion that make you think he will fall out of the 1st round?

tight hips. Whenever looking at a DB, one of the biggest things to look for is how well they are able to turn their hips and stay in fluid motion without losing momentum. He also lacks straight line speed, and he really wasn't tested that much in deep pass coverage due to Alabama's style of D in which he was constantly brought up into the box. He won't blow anyone away with his coverage skills.
His biggest strengths is he is as good as they come when talking about a big hitting run support safety. He also has a little bit of a ballhawk in him and shows a good ability to play the ball when its in the air.

Is it just me or is this a top heavy draft overall? After about 3 1/2 rounds I just don't see much to get excited about.

I rarely observe other people's boards, but I am glad to see yours posted. Buyers remorse already?
I think Bethel is a terrific mid-round value pick, and see him making it in the league. Najee Goode showed me exceptional footwork skills in LB drills at the combine. I think he goes a bit earlier. Should be a fun ride over the next few weeks
